Church Extension Fund loans are offered at competitive rates, often lower than commercial loan rates offered by other financial institutions. CEF also offers planning, consultation, and proven architect and builder contacts. The best reason? CEF is a ministry itself! Our goal is to help bring your vision all the way through to dedication, and to work with you every step of the way until your loan is paid off.  

Church Extension Fund provides loans to new and existing ministries to buy land, for constuction, and to remodel ministry facilities. Other loan offerings are Housing Loans, Down Payment Assistance, Home Equity Loans, and Lines of Credit. 

Some projects require more planning than others. Sometimes, architecture or real estate professionals must be consulted and local regulations and ordinances have to be met. However, we can assure you that with the help of our talented and dedicated CEF Loan Department, your loan will be processed as quickly as possible. Some loans can close in as little as 3-4 weeks!

The Housing Loan Program is a three-party transaction between CEF, the ministry worker, and the ministry. This proven process is available to all ministry workers in the Michigan District (not just rostered workers!).
