Our Mission

Church Extension Fund serves as trusted and innovative stewards of financial resources by providing investment and lending products to help Lutheran ministries and church members build God’s Kingdom.

Established on June 18, 1901, by a group of industrious and faithful Michigan Lutherans, CEF has a rich history of supporting the growth and development of Lutheran ministries. By providing financial resources, both loans and investments, CEF empowers churches to expand their ministries and further The Great Commission.
